Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all agreements and transactions between Vilti and its customers. By placing an order with Vilti, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. Product Information and Use

​

1.1 Quality and Responsibility

Vilti strives for the highest quality in its handmade products, which are carefully crafted and inspected. Despite these efforts, Vilti is not liable for damage resulting from improper use or insufficient care of the products.

​

1.2 Safety and Supervision

Vilti’s handmade products may contain small parts that can be dangerous if used improperly, especially for young children. This may lead to pinching or choking hazards. Vilti is not liable for injury or damage resulting from the use of its products, regardless of whether safety instructions have been followed. It is the user’s responsibility to handle the products safely and ensure they do not come into contact with children or pets. Baby products must always be used under adult supervision.

1.3 Storage

Products must be stored safely, out of reach of children and pets. Vilti accepts no liability for damage or injury resulting from improper storage.

1.4 Use and Instructions

Vilti’s products are intended for decorative purposes only and are not suitable as toys. Ensure that products are kept out of reach of children and pets. Improper use may result in damage or injury. The buyer is responsible for following these guidelines. Vilti is not liable for damage resulting from failure to follow these instructions.

2. Liability

2.1 Exclusions

​

Vilti is not liable for damage caused by:

• Improper use, modification, or alteration of products after delivery

• Use for purposes other than those intended

• Lack of supervision when using baby or children’s products

2.2 Inspection Upon Receipt

​

The customer must inspect the product upon receipt. Damage resulting from the use of a damaged product is the responsibility of the customer.

​

3. Warranty and Returns Policy

​

3.1 Defects or Damage

If a product is delivered defective or damaged, the customer must report this in writing within 7 days of receipt via hallo@vilti.nl. Please include your name, address, and order details. After assessment, Vilti may proceed with replacement, repair, or refund.

3.2 Incorrect Delivery

In case of an incorrect delivery, the customer must contact us within 7 days. Vilti will provide the correct item free of charge.

3.3 Return Exclusions

Returns are not possible for:

• Personalized or custom-made items (such as name products or custom color selections)

• Products that have been used or are no longer in their original condition

• Products that have come into contact with fragrances, pet hair, or other contaminants
   

3.4 Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise agreed, return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. In the case of errors or defects, Vilti will reimburse return shipping costs.

3.5 Refunds

After receiving and inspecting a returned product, refunds will be processed within 14 days, depending on the payment method used.

​

4. Shipping Policy

4.1 Delivery Area

Vilti currently ships only within the Netherlands and Belgium.

4.2 Shipping Costs

• Netherlands: shipping from €4.25

• Belgium: shipping from €8.95

4.3 Delivery Times

The stated delivery times are indicative. Delays may occur during busy periods or due to limited availability of materials.

• In-stock products: shipped within 5 working days

• Out-of-stock products: shipped within approximately 2 weeks

Custom-made products:

• Name garland: shipped within approximately 2 weeks

• Mobile: shipped within approximately 3 weeks

4.4 Custom Requests

For special requests, please contact us via hallo@vilti.nl. We will provide an individual estimate of the delivery time.

5. Prices and VAT

All listed prices are final prices. Vilti participates in the Small Business Scheme (KOR) and therefore does not charge VAT. Invoices and payment confirmations do not include a VAT specification.
